Terms of Service

Effective 2026-05-02. The Indonesian version at /syarat is the controlling text in case of conflict.

1. The service

Liat.Menu (operated from Indonesia) provides hosted digital menus reachable at liat.menu/<your-handle>. Each business that registers becomes a tenant.

2. Account and handle

Handles are unique and immutable once claimed. We reject reserved slugs. Squatting on a brand you do not own is grounds for takedown under section 7.

4. Subscription and trial

New tenants get a 30-day trial. After the trial, continued service requires payment per the published price. Late payment enters a 7-day grace period before the menu is taken offline.

5. Content ownership

You retain ownership of menu data, item names, descriptions, and images you upload. You grant Liat.Menu a non-exclusive licence to host and display that content as required to operate the service.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, threaten platform integrity, or are subject to a credible legal complaint. Suspension is reversible; termination is final.

7. Takedown and legal hold

If a third party submits a credible takedown notice (impersonation, IP infringement, fraud), we may place the tenant on legal hold (section 8). See the takedown policy.

8. Legal hold

A legal hold takes the public menu offline behind a 451 page until the matter is resolved. The dashboard remains accessible so the tenant can respond. Legal hold is not a finding of guilt.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid in the prior 12 months.

10. Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be announced via WhatsApp/email at least 14 days before they take effect.
