Takedown Policy

How to report content that infringes your rights or violates Indonesian law.

What this is for

This channel is for credible legal complaints (impersonation, IP infringement, fraud, court orders). For ordinary content concerns (wrong price, broken link), use the per-menu report button at liat.menu/<handle>/laporkan.

What to include

  1. The handle in question (e.g., liat.menu/example-warung).
  2. Identification of the right or law allegedly violated.
  3. Evidence: screenshots, prior brand registration, court order, etc.
  4. Your contact details and authority to file (rights holder, counsel, law-enforcement officer).
  5. A statement, made in good faith, that the information is accurate.

How to send

Email liatmenu@protonmail.com with subject [TAKEDOWN] <handle>.

Service-level commitments
  • Acknowledgement: within 24 hours.
  • Initial action (legal hold or rejection): within 72 hours.
  • Counter-notice window for the tenant: 14 days.

What happens

  1. If the complaint is credible, we place the tenant on legal hold — the public menu serves a 451 page.
  2. We notify the tenant via their registered WhatsApp number with the substance of the complaint.
  3. The tenant may submit a counter-notice. If credible, we lift the hold and inform the complainant.
  4. Unresolved disputes are referred to Indonesian courts.

Bad-faith notices

Submitting false notices to harass a competitor is itself a violation. We log every notice; repeat offenders are blocked from this channel and may be reported to authorities.
